I have my system dual boot. win-xp and ubuntu 6.06 and want to do a clean install of ubuntu 7.10 . Ubuntu is on hda3.
dell dimension 2400
and has come up on step 4 of 7 on the install
*prepare disk space*
option 1. guided resize scsi (0.0.0) partition #3 (sda) and use free space
with a slide bar
option 2 use entire disk ...not the option i will take
option 3 manual
If I choose manual it coes up with a list of drives and a check box by each..
so in short, do i choose guided resize and slide the bar to the end?
or choose manual and tick sda3 my ubuntu partition
