no close button in compiz

Just installed Hardy but there are no close, minimize etc buttons?

I solved this but there was no "solved" in the drop down on thread tools. The problem was with my video card, I found the correct settings for it on the compiz-fusion web site.
Sorry for the incomplete post, I'll do better next time.

Mind sharing the solution you found, or the URL where you found it?

I think I have the same issue. When I click on F11 for full-screen and come back to windowed view the Minimize-Maximize-Close buttons are not visible on the Title bar. However, when I click on the area where they are supposed to be located, the window behaves as it should. Not sure if this is a compiz thing or due to Emerald.
