What model card do you have?

the card I used was a dx-wgpdtc
the enhanced version uses a broadcom bcm4318 chipset.
http://ubuntuhcl.org/browse/product?id=110 works with 7.04 and 7.10

in 8.04 using the 43xx drivers I hear they get 24Mbs with this chipset or by using ndiswrapper+the correct drivers the full 54Mbs.
