Wow I wish Intrepid will go for a look like this. The Deviant Art Theme competition should be good.

I haven't installed 8.04 so pardon me, what are the addons there? The dock-like program selector, and the desktop previewer?

I'm guessing the desktop previewer is a compiz plugin.

I'm also guessing the whole bottom bar is some fancy panel that provides all of the above?

It's a mockup. There are no programs yet that do exactly that.
