Hi all,
I've just upgraded my server machine up to 8.04 (used the network upgrade from 7.10). All seemed to be well, and it rebooted into my shiny new system. Now everything seems to be running smoothly on it; all the usual processes running, except that I can't actually log in under any account name I know the password for.
This is the case both over SSH and locally. I tried running recovery mode to use passwd, but it just comes up with "Aborted."
So, er, help? :p
