Update Manager Weirdness

I had the beta and I guess I"m on the final release because when I cat /etc/lsb-release I get:

DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu
DISTRIB_RELEASE=8.04
DISTRIB_CODENAME=hardy
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 8.04"

However I have not received any updates from the update manager in some 4-5 days. When I click the 'Check' button, it breezes through all the downloads: when I check the status it's just 0 B files that are 'Hit' instead of downloaded. I have pretty much everything checked in the 'Software Sources' screen too. What's going on here? Is there network problems? Or is something wrong with how my Hardy checks for updates?

I've been wondering the same thing, I haven't had any updates since 2-3 days before the final release. I assumed there would be at least a few to get up to the final version, guess not..............

The last updates for the Final Version were released Wednesday morning.
