I've installed Ubuntu today and so far I think it's a pretty great operating system, however I've slowly started making my way down the track of installing Beryl and well... I've encountered this error and am quite stumped... Any help would be appreciated..
One file says it needs another, but when trying to install that file, it stays a later version is installed... (Sorry if I posted in the wrong section... it seemed like the most appropriate...)

Forget about beryl : it is dead since a long time. Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy) and 8.04 (Hardy) are providing its "child", called Compiz Fusion.
