I tried to run Dapper Drake on a PC in my college.

This is the configuration

Intel c2d 2.4
1 G RAM
Intel 965 Mboard

Dapper Live CD is detected by the PC but doesn't boot.

Uncompressing Kernel ... OK .Booting Linux. --- and stays there for ever.

Booting in safe mode and Check CD for defects end up in the same screen.

I redownloaded the iso and burnt the CD @ 16x. Still no joy.

I tried with a different CD-ROMm, still no joy.

The same CD runs on a very old 256 Mb RAM 1.2 Ghz laptop. Why not on a new PC ?

Please Help me. :(

PS : Please don't suggest me to use Hardy or other releases. I have tried them all and have not liked them.
