Ever since trying to upgrade to Hardy via Update Manager I have nothing but problems. My most serious problem right now is that I can't even open a file browser and icons aren't on my desktop.
In addition every time I start Update Manager now i get the:
Not all updates can be installed
Run a partial upgrade, to install as many updates as possible.
doing so gets me:
Can not upgrade
A upgrade from 'hardy' to 'gutsy' is not supoprted with this tool.
If I don't opt for the partial upgrade option it says my system is up to date but has several (100+) Distribution updates greyed out in the window.
Even though my system is supposedly Hardy Heron I still notice several apps haven't been updated. Firefox for one is still version 2.0. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
