is running compiz fusion like this antequated? my effects seem to use my processor for the calculations instead of the gpu, does XGL try and fix that? i'm pretty new so i'm just trying to figure out what is the fastest.
i did some google searches and most compiz fusion guides don't dive deep enough, i did find one as far as compiz and xgl go but iwas back in dapper.
