please help, cant install hardy

i am trying to install hardy but it just isnt working
i am installing the gnome 64 bit edition using 2 sata asus dvd drives and i either get an i/o error or it says loading the kernal and freezes at 21%
please help

Burn a new CD. Follow this guide:

Do md5sum, burn at 4x or less, on CD-R, check CD integrity. Clean the lens in your burner. You can download ImgBurn, that allows you to burn at 1x if you want.

Install it and go Mode>ISO>Burn
If all fails, use the Alternate CD.
