I have a shiny new install of Hardy, I did enter a user name and password during the install process when asked to, but when I got to the login screen it told me they were incorrect and wouldn't let me log in as me. I ended up letting the count down timer finish and it logged me in as user 'ubuntu' so I could get to a browser and try to find a fix, but I'm not having any luck with searches.
Can anyone tell me how I find out why it's not accepting my user name and password and how to fix it. I used the same name and password I have used for the last two years on my previous Dapper install so I am sure I remembered them correctly and I re-tried them many times to rule out typos.
