Installing Hardy 64 from hard disk using ISO image

Hi all,

I followed the instructions from this: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/FromWindows.

but I could only end up with a console Ubuntu. Because the install would not allow me to choose the 4 or 5 choices of install a Ubuntu-desktop, Samba server, etc.

Could anyone point me to a good tutorial on a from-hard-disk install of Hardy?
