Hello guys, I just finished today upgrading my computer to hardy and after it was upgraded my computer became very very very slow, the icon became smaller, compiz still works but i had to disable it cause my computer is almost unoperable. I went to the dive drivers and found out that the HAL and the wireless drive are not being used (with the proprietary software), i'm not sure if that is part of the problem, i also disable them and enable them back, reseted the computer but still very very slow. I need some help to fix this issues......thanx before hand........

..i also disable them and enable them back..

Are they "in use" after this?

If i were you i would delete all configuration files from the home folder...

(You can try to add a new user, then logout and login as the new user. Do you still have the same issues?)

About the drivers stuff could you post the dmesg output?

Thanx hermes, but they are not in use....it seems like the drivers are not being used....
