Linux Mint Daryna Community vs Main

Hello all, I am thinking of playing with Linux Mint and wonder if I should go with the Community (KDE) or Main (Gnome) version. I am more used to Gnome mind you.

I also notice that the Community version is 1GB and the Main is 688MB. Does the community have more default installed software? If yes, what are the software differences?

Also is appears that Daryna is based very closely on Gutsy. Does Daryna simply use the Ubuntu repos?

Any thoughts?
