Ok so, my main hdd is a 40gb disk, and I'm going to be backing the entire thing up on an external hdd. Afterwards, my goal is to partition half of the drive for linux, and the other half for windows. So - I need a good tutorial that will show me how to partition part of a drive for linux, and then allow for dual booting. I already have a ubuntu 7.10 cd, and that's the version I will be installing (and later upgrading through the gui I hope). I am NOT a very experienced linux user!
