Hello Everyone,
I have Hardy running well on my laptop, but Gutsy is still running on my desktop. This desktop has five operating systems, 4 Linux and XP. The existing Grub menu was installed from the first Linux distro (PCLinuxOS) and I boot Gutsy from it. My question is: If I upgrade to Hardy from Gutsy using the Update Manager, is it likely that my existing Grub installation is going to be overwritten by Hardy? This is the only thing keeping me from doing the upgrade because I don't want to manually re-do everything if I have to reinstall Grub.
I appreciate any replies.
