I updated to hardy and now I cannot log in using GNOME any longer.
The panel is not loading; only start up application are appearing (see attached screenshot).
I logged in using the failsafe terminal and tried the launch gnome-panel from the terminal; but I get the following error:
gnome-panel: symbol lookup error: gnome-panel: undefined symbol: g_file_query_exists
I've tried to uninstall gnome-panel and reinstall it, but nothing is changing. This is really awkward because I updated to Hardy on another machine and I'm not facing this problem.
Help anyone?
