Hardy, Dell Latitude D620 with Quadro NVS110m GPU. When desktop effects are enabled, I cannot click-and-drag windows. On normal desktop effects settings, both click-and-drag and the Move command move the window one pixel. On enhanced settings, click-and-drag does nothing, but surprisingly, Move works fine.

Install compiz-config-settings-manager if you don't already have it and then look for the plugin "Move window" right down the bottom, nearly, in Window management. Make sure that is enabled and you may be OK. Perhaps also make sure "Snapping Windows" is not enabled as this holds windows to the sides of the screen, and is, I think, a flippin' nuisance.

Thanks, but no luck. I can usually move windows with the Move command or Alt+F7, but anything that requires me to click-and-drag only moves it one pixel. I have tried turning off every compiz feature except Move Windows and Window Decorations, with no luck.
