I dont get it o.o Those are the computers you are testing it on? But it is already finally released, isnt it?

It was my testbed and now just my normal working area, the Matrix desktop was for all intents an purposes my crappy Colony 4 install of Kubuntu. -- KB.

It was the best I could do with a $25 digital camera.

Yours looks great AI, nice and clean.

Mcduck is that a Marshall Amp under your desk?
Sure it is. :D

But it's been a while since I last played my guitar, now I spend more time with my dear Roland MC-303, and Reason whenever I can force myself to shut Ubuntu down and boot windows.

Anyway, the amp is not connected to my computer, if that's what you were thinking.

The laptop is my main computer. The desktop is made up of parts from at least 6 different computers with a Duron chip. I just use it for testing new stuff. It has had at least 6 or 7 different distros on it (as many as 5 at one time!).

Since mcduck had his Marshall in the photo I decided to turn 180 degrees and snap a quick shot of the other side of the same room...the amp is vintage 1940's National/Valco that I restored. My big amp, my pedalboard and two other guitars are not pictured (one is in my avatar). Oh, yeah. There's a mandolin in the case that I plan to learn how to play one of these days...

I have a Peavy Delta Blues tube amp. That bad boy makes Half-Life 2 sound awesome.

Good to know there are a lot of geek musicians out there other than myself :)

It was poured into a glass, of course *as seen in the photo*. That is what the widget inside the can is for. It gives you that "on-tap" feeling (it uses nitrogen, too, just like in real life... for a nice sour head)

Azz , Guinness is the life blood of everyone of my countrymen, including myself. I do believe that I buy a case every two weeks, and Im the only man I know that drinks it at room temp.

huh?

I feel dumb. I was going to post a pic of my work space (if you can call it work). How do I post a pic? I uploaded a shot, after resizing it to fit requirements, under Attach Files - Manage Attachments. How do I actually paste it? It's either not intuitive enough or I'm missing something simple.

Thanks,
Bill

After you've uploaded it to the attachment manager (by browsing for it then choosing upload) go back to the message window and click on the paper clip icon again. You should now see it there and the necessary code will be placed in your post when you choose it.

That would make two of us in the State of Georgia alone!

Let me submit humbly, m'luds, that Irish room temp and Georgia room temp can be very very very different things, depending on the time of year.....

Not much, but it works for now :) (Tower not included) it's hidden in the box below ;)

Excuse me for not having a pic, my picture was to big and no time to resize, so a link is given :)

well lets see here is my current desktop / laptop screenshot (basically the same)
http://68.118.0.113/media/images/photos/linux/Screenshot.jpg

my desktop (http://68.118.0.113/media/images/photos/linux/DSC00748.JPG) desktop running breezy

my laptop (http://68.118.0.113/media/images/photos/linux/DSC00749.JPG) laptop running breezy

and finally my server (http://68.118.0.113/media/images/photos/linux/DSC00750.JPG) running debian sarge. (normally runs headless but just for the photo it decided to let it have a head)

Bless this mess:

Hope I didn't screw this up too bad. I was able to upload the attachment, but no "clip" attachment icon was on my reply screen. So, I uploaded a bigger version and copied the link.

This should be enough encouragement for anyone who doesn't dare give us a peek. Big fun! I have no shame. I'm getting too old to worry about that.

I want to join the bandwagon too and show my little space where my Ubuntu is the OS of choice (I've printed the Ubuntu 5.04 guide - which always come in handy) and my SNAP figure (from Chalkzone).

different initial configs , either by luck or by whacking or by "just cant be bother as long as its up" , show them in different shades and luminalities ... i would rather not to give a damn to "apparant reality" , perfection is madness , the drudgery of satisfying all of them would be the only sound universality and the hardest one , feels like honey potting though ... aaarrrrrggh ... better call for the next better player ...

*nough said* :p , now go down coffee shop ...
