Hello,
I have an HP Photosmart R607 digital camera. I just upgraded to 8.04, and it's no longer recognized for some reason. When I had 7.10, all I had to do was turn the camera on, plug it into my USB port, and f spot would open and import the images.
Since I've upgraded, nothing happens when I plug in the camera. It doesn't show as a removable drive or anything. If I open fspot, and click import it states that there are no cameras attached or something to that effect.
What happened? How can I get my camera to work again?

Odd; my printer is no longer recognized either. With 7.10 I had trouble using any driver other than Turboprint, but still the printer was recognized and worked. Now Ubuntu doesn't even see that the printer exists. What's going on? Can anyone help please?

I restarted, and for some reason the camera is working fine, but the printer still isn't recognized.
