Hi.

I've installed kde 4, and i love it... it's really pretty.

But I use a lot of Gnome applications on my Kubuntu install (just upgraded to Hardy last night) such as firefox, synaptic, etc. but while these blend in on kde 3.5, they aren't styled in kde 4 and look well, gray and boxy with big fonts. Quite unsightly.

Any way to get them to blend in?

Thanks

Install gtk-qt-engine-kde4. You should gain an extra section in your kde4 system settings which allows gtk apps to be drawn with your qt4 style. It won't work with synaptic as this is gtk1 and not gtk2 (but pretty much all other gnome apps should now look almost identical to the kde4 ones).
