I would like to become an ubuntu member.

According to the ubuntu website on this subject (http://www.ubuntu.com/community/processes/newmember) you can become a member if you advocate ubuntu (amongst other things) and if you're active on the forums.

I believe I'm did my share of helping on the forums and I'm advocating ubuntu on my blog (see sig) where I have multiple how-to's, a screenshots section to advocate the beauty of the linux desktop and a "try ubuntu " section. The blog had about 26000 unique vistors.

Would that suffice to become a member? (would love a @ubuntu.com email adress).

I'm asking this because the process seems rather difficult and wouldn't go trough the trouble if I wouldn't be able to join.

What do you think?

I would say so based on your advocacy of Ubuntu and your participation in the forums. Your blog by itself should be enough. I say go for it!
