To anyone who found my guides or posts helpful (see my signature), I thank you for thanking me and boosting my total thanks to 100 (as of this post).
I think the "Thanks" feature of the forums is one of the best features introduced, as it helps discern the people who just complain in the help areas of the forums (and have a high amount of beans) compared to people who do genuinely help around here.
The most helpful post by far (according to the amount of thanks it got) was my beginner's guide to the terminal, which is, again, in my signature. I don't write these guides in order to reach a petty number of thanks on the forums - I honestly do it because I love to help. The 100 thanks mark gives me a sense of accomplishment despite it being one number, as it shows how many people's Ubuntu experience is that tiny bit better.
