Hi,

I just upgraded to 8.04 and bumped into a couple of errors when connecting to an FTP using "Connect to server".

When I create a new connection to an FTP server it appears both on the desktop and in the "Places" menu, and then it connects automatically to the server. Everything is fine so far.

But if I click on the shortcut on the "Places" menu, then the panel freezes and it never opens the connection. I have to kill gnome-panel to restart it. This is the biggest problem, but I've found a couple more.

After logging out and logging in again, all the connections to servers I had created dissapear both from the menu and the desktop.

Another minor problem is that when using the desktop shortcut the FTP session starts in the root directory of the server, rather than in the one I had configured. When it connects automatically after creating the connection it opens the right directory, though.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance
