I've never used linux before, but I have tried to install ubuntu 3 times (with 7.10 and another version). They always give me the same error, and will never let me install.
It does the loading bar thing for about 3 minutes, then it loops over and over the same error message. I looked all over for some type of error log, but I couldn't find one.
It says something about ata3.0 exception Emask (number jibberish) frozen. I assume it has to do with the hard drive. If you could point me in the right direction, I'd be glad to try this out.
