Question: Can a arm9 based Debian server be used to run apt-cacher for i386 Ubuntu PCs?
I have a small Buffalo Linkstation which I transformed into a Debian box. I woudl like to now have it work as a cache for upgrading to 8.04, but am afraid that I mess up either system as it does not appear clear to me whether the cache would work separately from the arm9 box's own upgrade mechanism.
Anyone any idea or experience?
