Network Manager/Segmentation Fault

Hello,

I just installed 8.04.

Inside Gnome the Network Manager refuses to operate properly. And after runnig it no other app will start anymore.
When I do failsafe and execute "iwconfig" inside the root terminal I get a "segmentation fault".

Does anybody have an idea?
