Update Manager halts at 'Downloading package information' [PIC INCLUDED]

Hi All,

I want to update to 8.04 but it seems it keeps on failing when trying to update 10 more repositories.

Many mirrors are overloaded, the best thing to do is wait until demand decreases and try again.

Use torrent files. Torrents are extremely fast. I upgraded very quickly using torrents. See http://ptcbus.blogspot.com/2008/04/upgrading-from-ubuntu-710-gutsy-gibbon.html
