For the past few months I have tried to install ubuntu on my desktop with no success. I have it running perfectly on my laptop but the installation has always failed on my desktop.
I get a big blinking '_' at the top of the screen and cant proceed past that point.
My computer:
AMD 4000
7800 GT
2GB ram
74GB raptor
I have looked around a little bit but have not found a solution. Any help is appreciated.
