Have 8.04 LTS live cd. Works on desktop fine. However, am trying it on my IBM Thinkpad T42 and have a couple of issues right off the bat.
First, when booting live cd w/o splash I get
Buffer I/O Error on device fd0, logical block 0 After a minute or two the boot continues and the system comes up.
Second, my usb wireless mouse does not work. My touchpad works fine as I am using the Thinkpad to submit this post.
Is anyone else experiencing these types of problems?
