I have ubuntu 7.10 on a pc with no internet connection or a CD writer. Can I update with a USB flash drive using my other PC connected to the internet?
Thanks in advance

http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/upgrading
has instructions for upgrading via cd, could get someone else to burn a cd for you?
you could try downloading the alternate cd image, extracting the files to a usb stick, take the usb stick to the non-networked pc, and running the script mentioned on the above link. you may need to tweek the script if it does not find the files on the usb stick.
