Hi,
I have just upgraded my Ubuntu to the new 8.10 version. But i am having some problems with it.
First when choose the kernel stated above Ii get an error booting up which says something like "soft lock cPU#1 11s".
So i choose Kernel2.6.22-16-generic (i think) and it boots up but cant find my screen type (screen of sony vaio laptop vgn-fe41z) so i have to put in as a standard one and the resolution looks wrong.
Not that i have a 64 bit process (just in case it mattered) and i installed this from a link where it normally informs you new software that needs to be installed.
Cheers
Gareth
