it gives me this when i type 'fglrxinfo'

display: :1.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: Mesa project: www.mesa3d.org
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect
OpenGL version string: 1.2 (2.1 Mesa 7.0.3)

Hmm... Which method on that site did you use?

I have an IBM T60 also. I used the restricted driver manager and ubuntu automatically installed and configured my ATI x1300 card for me.

Well at first I used the ubuntu method. And then the manual one. right now it kind of working, but the 'fglrxinfo' still shows the

display: :1.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: Mesa project: www.mesa3d.org
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect
OpenGL version string: 1.2 (2.1 Mesa 7.0.3)

in the hardware drivers I can use the ati accelerator.

Please can someone please help me.

thx
