I'm getting ready to do some heavy server work which means I'm changing over to Ubuntu for my server OS. I want security to be a main concern and being an ex-RHEL user, I prefer SELinux to AppArmor (which if I remember was said to be a less secure permissions system compared to SELinux developed by Novell). I'm not sure if I should drop AppArmor for SELinux, and if the package manager would automatically purge AppArmor and install SELinux with secure defaults upon install. Anyone able to help me with this? Thanks.

OS to be used: 8.04-server.

bump for SELinux - if it's more secure than AppArmor, Ubuntu should switch to it!

Can't wait to switch from RHEL to Ubuntu... Redhat's backporting of bug/security fixes is a major pain, still on PHP 5.1.6 when 5.2.5 is out.
