Clicking thunderbird links firefox goes on top of thunderbird

With hardy I have a small problem.
When I open a link from thunderbird, the link opens in a new firefox tab and goes on top of thunderbird.
With gutsy the link opened in firefox but in background. Thunderbird used to be always on top.

What do I have to change ?

quite a simple way but right click on the program list that you change windows with and select always on top.

Last time I had an issue like this I had somehow disabled focus stealing prevention in compiz advanced settings dialog. I believe the default setting is all.
