I hate this new way of choosing language in Gnome that came in version 2.20 (I think)
Why doesn't Gnome use my LANG setting?? Or how can I make Gnome use my LANG setting?
The problem is that I don't like using UTF-8, too much problems, so I always switch to ISO-8859-1 and this works ok in the terminal window etc, but not in Gnome itself; it insist on still using UTF-8 and I have no choice in the Language selection box for choosing the ISO variant of English, just English or something else....
Anyone?
