Hi
I am fan of installing new theme on my Ubuntu but usually themes are not complete and for example there is only GDM or Emerlad theme available.
For now I am using http://sourceforge.net/projects/mac4lin as an end to end theme, Can you please suggest other end to end themes which includes all required thems like GTK, GDM, Icons, Emerlad,... ?

Thank you in advance.

I usually start with a background and work from there. Then again, I never customize much beyond the window decorations and colours.

I kinda like to keep bootsplash and gdm them as they are since they are user independent. For windows decorations I choose clearbox and for gtk I find murrina-fancycandy quite fast and easy on the eyes. For icon theme tango is my only favorite and its quite complete now.
I also alter the default GDM theme a little bit. I change the font sizes etc...

Not a complete theme, but from the same themer who made SlicknesS:

http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/show.php?content=79463&vote=good&tan=5078067

The firefox looks amazingly cool with that theme.

If you want perfectness, yet a little sick of the mac-look, I suggest clearlooks-colors (it has gtk, gdm, wallpaper and boot-splash). For icon theme I suggest you generate a custom Tango theme through "tango-generator 3". That means that every icon is high res and every icon is following the same guidelines. Myself am using the "ubuntusque" configuration file for tango-generator.

Hi
Can you please explain more about tango-generator 3?
I tried to find it with google but i only found tango-generator 2 which looks to be obsolete.

thanks.

I use the same author's Murrine-Colors. He includes alot of text hints in his GTKRC files which allows you to easily edit and tweak the theme if you want.

Tango-generator is available on gnome-look or from the authors website:
