So I just completed a fresh install of Kubuntu Gutsy. Problem is, every time I attempt to run Adept to get my updates and install a few things it fails to start. apt-get update doesn't seem to be working either.
I've done a little reading around already and tried a few things to no avail. I did notice that in other threads people had been asked for the contents of their /etc/apt/sources.list so I've included that below. I'd noticed a lot of the repositories were commented out so I deleted the #s. I also included the output of the apt-get update. DHCP was disabled on my router while I installed so didn't have an internet connection; I'm wondering whether this has something to do with things? Anyway I'd appreciate it if someone could lend a hand; I'm a bit of a linux newbie but I can follow instructions :P. Thanks in advance!
