I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 Gusty Gibbon and I would like to know how to change the wallpaper. Not the desktop wallpaper, but the wallpaper you can see only when you zoom out on the desktop cube. How do you change it? Thanks.

You can set it through the Compiz manager, it's under Advanced Desktop->Desktop Cube->Skydome

Skydome is what that background cube image is called. (You can even animate it!)

Install compizconfig-settings-manager. Open up the terminal, and type this into it:

sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager
After the installation, go to System => Preferences => CompizConfig Setttings Manager => Desktop Cube => Appearance => Skydome, and browse for the image you want.
Hope this helps. Cheerz!

@LeoSolaris: Similar reply. You're to fast for me:D:D:D

Install CCSM, enable desktop cube and rotate cube plugins, then hit ctrl+alt+Left/Right arrow.
