I have a linksys USB200M fast ethernet adapter and I just can't seem to get it to work. I looked on the web and the modules I found are usbnet and axnet-cs. I built both of them as modules in the kernel.
then I ran:

modprobe usbnet
modprobe axnet_cs

they both worked fine without any errors and i checked and the adapter is detected:

Master ~ # lsusb

Bus 001 Device 006: ID 13b1:0018 Linksys USB200M 10/100 Ethernet Adapter

but nothing is shown when I run ifconfig:

Master ~ # ifconfig

There should be an interface called usb0 but it's obviously not there.

What should I do?

Thanks,
