View Full Version : [ubuntu] downloading packets to cd without installing

I have a computer in school that is running a new installation of ubuntu. this new has no internet connection there for the packet managers don't work.

So heres my question, how do i down load packet(including the software not just the pointer) but don't install them but instead put the on a CD, and how do i set up a packet server in local network?

The software that i need is:
Drivers
server software

Maybe something like aptoncd could be used.
