Unbuntu ce and esword

I have ubuntu ce for the sole purpose of getting esword. I can install it right to the spot where it asks for your password and it goes away to never return.

I have disabled dansguardian.... any help would be appreciated. I am thinking of going back to windows Aughhhhhhh

You could try installing it using wine.

canadianbaptist, have you tried GnomeSword2?
My future son-in-law uses esword on Windows but I introduced him Ubuntu and GnomeSword2 and he likes it very much.
Just a thought.
