Greetings,
Newbie. I have a Asrock P4VM890 mobo running Ubuntu Gutsy and let me be the 8 millionth person to say that M$ had better watch out... Ubuntu is coming and coming fast! I have one problem.
The system recognizes the on-board audio chip, I can play CD, videos and any other multimedia... hell, the damn thing even takes the dog for a walk! But, the audio is beset by a constant "bong, bong..." playing in the background. It cycles about 2 'bongs' per second, adjusts with the master volume being adjusted, and just won't go away. Any suggestions to remove this annoyance would be welcome.
Regards.
