i've looked all over the firefox site, and none of them seem to work with my version of FF (3.0b5)

You shouldn't expect plugins to work with a beta version of Firefox.

Either way it's up to the plugin developers to upgrade their code to work with Firefox 3 :)

Sure is :)

I assume you're running Hardy Heron (8.04) then ;)

You can, of course, just use the buttons (http://del.icio.us/help/buttons).

It is a beta and there are a few more issues with it one more important one is that some online banking sites do not recognize it. I uninstalled it and reinstalled non beta
hope this helps

Gripp,

A beta version of the new del.icio.us extension is here:

I've used it and have had no problems. Plus, it's got some cool new features.

Install the User Agent Switcher and set it to IE7 from Tools > User Agent Switcher.

My online banking site works if I do this (I won't say who they are though :p)

Get the nightly builder tools addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/6543

With that you can force to make addons run. You know mostly they don't run because they have in their versioning just up to v2 of FF while there is no other reason for them not to work.

Yep, you can also use the nightly tester tools to force old add-ons to run, but if it's del.icio.us that you're looking for, I strongly recommend using their new beta. It works like a charm for me.
