I have been away from the linux scene for about a year now, and i am redy to come back to using some linux....I run into a problem right away...
I put the ubuntu 7.10 cd in and start booting from it...then i get some
"buffer I/O Error on device fd0, logical block 0 End_request : : I/O error, dev fd0, sector 0"
So since i have no floppy drive i just disabled it...now when i boot from cd it will pretty much seem to load fine but come to a halt at some prompt...
(Initramfs)
Something that i need to type to proceed?
