lo folks, I've been running hardy xubuntu now for a couple of days and apart from a couple of problems (one being bitchx not being in the deps any more, but feh) its been ok.

right, now i dont know whether its me thats removed summat after the last update (i did it about 17:00 BST) but for some reason all my icons including those on firefox/thunderbird have all changed and look very basic, i generally remove tat i dont want like all the games and stuff (why must all this stuff be reinstalled....its a pita!) , but i dont remember removing any icon theme stuff.

anyone had the same problem??

have checked settings -> settings manager and theres no app there to change the icons like there used to be on 7.10, so seems to be no way of changing them back, and have checked aptitude and theres nothing there in the way of an icon change app

any light shed would be really really great!
