Hi all Ubuntu users,

I am thinking about running the next Ubuntu development release ( i.e. "Intrepid Ibex" 8.10 ) in a virtual environment inside my current "Gutsy" install (soon to be "Hardy" ) for bug testing purposes. I would like to do this because I want to become more involved with Ubuntu, specifically "BugSquad".

I have used VirtualBox in the past with good success, running a Windows XP install inside Ubuntu. I wanted to know if I might run into any possible problems running an Ubuntu version inside a virtual machine in my /home partition, as I have a fairly large amount of unused space available..

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

you should have no problems running any os inside virtualbox. i have many, and never had a problem yet!

(fingers-crossed),

best of luck

Thanks, probably the only thing I will need to do is a memory upgrade since I only have 512MB currently.

Thanks again for the quick response.
