I just recently installed the 8.04 release candidate, only to find my SpeedTouch Modem no longer works.
When I was on 7.04 and 7.10 I used the USB ADSL Modem manager, which sadly does not work with this release due to "dependency" issues.
I've also tried using the speedtouch conf method. Also, no luck.
This is pretty annoying, if anyone else this problem or can help it would be appreciated ;)
