I'm fairly new to Ubuntu, but I'm loving it.
The only problem I have is that i need virtual box for
some applications existing in windows for work and school.
But every time i install it, it messes with the wifi and audio.
When i right click on the wifi, there are no option available.
The same happens with audio, except that a window pops up and
says it doesn't exists; that i should remove it from the panel.
(so I have to reinstall Ubuntu so that it works again)

I'm currently using an Inspiron 6400 with Ubuntu 8.04 aka Hardy Heron.

inspiron 6400
intel pro/wireless 3945abg network connection
512MB, DDR2, 533MHz
intel centrino core duo processor

please help, as In great need of this.
Thank you for your time.

Virtual box will detect a LAN connection to the host and thus recieve connection.
